I cannot believe Mother’s day is already around the corner!! So, I have put together a long distance Mother’s Day gift guide. Of course, with the theme of self-care & beauty because that’s kind of my thing. I don’t know about you but since this whole lockdown is still happening it feels like I’m in some weird time loop. I barely know what day it at this point…Therefore, with all my time I put together thoughtful long distance Mother’s Day gift ideas you can give your mom even though you might not be able to spend time with her due to social distancing. I know some of us even live long distance from our families, so this guide is for you. Unless your sheltered in place with your mom, then you get to spend time with her and give her a cute present 😘

Yes Candles! Candles are the gift that keep on giving. They last for awhile, smell amazing and give a certain coziness to a living space. I think they can really make a house into a home. Now, if your loved one lives in a pace where they cannot light candles you can substitute this with a wax burner, wall plug in or an essential oil diffuser. Note that with diffusers there are many oils that are not pet safe or kid safe. Therefore, this will require a bit of research on your part before you give this gift. I personally love how long bath and body works candles last, but you can get candles from anywhere!

Facial Mask Set:
To go Spa is a cute brand from Las Vegas that makes collagen masks. They make you feel refreshed and are quick and easy. These collections have full face masks, eye patches, lip masks and décolleté masks. The pomegranate is for anti aging and the green tea helps reduce dark circles. I personally have tried the freshwater eyes, bamboo charcoal and silver collection. I have loved them all. However, if you don’t want to get the full collection you can get singles and make a cute spa bundle with your own hand picked items.
Numi Tea Blossom set:
This particular tea set is a blossoming tea set. I have been geeking out over this beautiful crystal tea pot that shows the beautiful tea blossoms. It’s so pretty and relaxing. It’s a great addition to a tea lovers collection.
Personalized Portable Coffee Mug:
I know there are not many people that are big tea lovers. So, this is for coffee lover out there. You can get a travel coffee cup that is personalized for the person you are buying for. I found this adorable one on esty here.

Dinner box:
A fun home cooked meal is great especially when you don’t have to think much about preparing it. Hello Fresh has a variety of meal plans you can pick from and you can adjust the number of people it is for. If you can’t go to a restaurant right now, then bring the restaurant home for mom. A fun or cheesy idea depending on how you look at, is get the same boxes and make them on a zoom call together (I will most likely be doing this with my husband for one of our families this year). During times like this we have to get creative!

Skincare Kit:
Sephora has a wide range of clean at sephora products, and in some of those brand there are gift sets of skincare items. I like most of the clean at sephora brands and one of the boxes that caught my eye was this year! While this set is for normal to combination skin, it’s a good starting point. Tatcha is a good brand. All the ingredients are for hydrating and to produce more glowing skin. Now, you can get a kit similar to this from Ulta or even from Amazon.
